The Stratus VIS is a procedural work surface that surrounds the patient during endovascular intervention. It creates a continuous, flat working plane alongside the patient — stabilizing catheters and wires, bringing the working field closer to the physician, and converting unused table space into an organized staging area for the tech team.

Imaging tables were designed for visualization, not for managing long catheter systems, triaxial assemblies, or complex CTO equipment. The VIS addresses that gap. Its components are engineered around the recumbent patient rather than the table itself, elevating the working field to approximately five inches — matching average anterior pelvic height in the supine position. Once draped, the patient and VIS become one continuous surface.

For the physician

The runway pad sits alongside the patient's leg and hip, bringing catheters and wires up to a consistent, supported height. With less reach and a near-neutral wrist position, operators report reduced shoulder strain, less neck flexion, and better fine motor control during long cases. The surface also functions as a tactile reference point — resting a finger or hand against it provides stability during precise manipulations.

For the tech team

The base pad extends beyond the patient's feet, turning previously unused table space into a dedicated sterile staging area. Lines, devices, and pre-case prep can be organized before the patient arrives and stay accessible throughout the procedure.
