IPAB Imaging Prone Arm Board (SVS-IPAB1)
Prone interventional procedures put the patient's arms in an awkward position. A board that's too narrow leaves the upper extremities unsupported. One that's too wide gets in the way of the C-arm and biplane imaging. The IPAB Imaging Prone Arm Board is built to solve both problems at once.
IPAB widens the head end of the imaging table to give the arms stable support. It does this without crowding your imaging equipment or limiting procedural access. The board is made from medical-grade radiolucent polymer, so it stays clear in the imaging field. Smooth rounded edges and clean edge transitions make it comfortable to position and simple to clean.
IR teams use IPAB across a range of prone cases: nephrostomy tube placement and exchange, kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, popliteal access, lumbar drain placement, and spine intervention. It fits IR, neurointerventional, vascular surgery, cath lab, and pain management suites.
An integrated carry handle makes placement and removal quick. A 4-inch hook-and-loop strap secures the board directly to the table, and it works with both reusable straps and single-use "one-wrap" fixation.
IPAB is built in North Carolina for daily reusable performance. It comes in widths from 28" to 42" in square, rectangular, and home-plate configurations.
